Yuning Huang and Dominic Brooks met while studying for their MAs at Camberwell College of Arts. They formed The Garden Folk as a way to navigate the art world together and create work that is visually engaging while also communicating critical perspectives on the rise of technology, elitism, and greed within the contemporary art world.
Their work focuses on making art accessible through workshops, interactive installations, and illustrated publications. They aim to encourage participation and help people build a deeper connection with craft and creativity. They are currently developing installation-based work while taking part in exhibitions, affordable art fairs, and local markets.
